Hi. I recently bought the above HP Laptop 2nd hand from my local Cash Converters store. It originally had Windows 10 installed, complete with all the HP software. However, it now has Windows 11. I wanted to do a factory reset, back to Windows 10, so I could use all the original HP software, as I don't like Windows 11. As the upgrade to Windows 11 was done more than 10 days ago, the option to restore my laptop back to Windows 10 is unavailable. The original HP Recovery partitions are still intact, so it should be possible to downgrade my laptop back to the HP version of Windows 10, but as I've been used to using Windows 7 for so long, I'm unfamiliar with how to do this type of recovery. I'm quite Computer literate, so I'll be able to follow any instructions. The laptop is also out of warranty, so HP support options will be limited, and most likely chargeable. I had a bad experience with a friend's HP laptop during a system recovery that failed, due to overheating issues and possible Hard Drive corruption, so I don't want to make any mistakes with mine. There are 2 SSD drives in the laptop, but the OS is on the 2nd drive. The smaller SSD had never been used before, because it was unformatted when I started using Windows 11. I'm not sure which SSD should be the default Windows drive, but the 1TB SSD is the one with the Recovery Partitions on it. 2 of the Partitions are missing, however, as they're numbered, and at least 2 are missing, one of which may be HP Tools
After going on Google, the procedure seems to be to download a program called HP Cloud Recovery, which I can access from the Microsoft website. It seems to link to the UK HP website, as it asked me for the serial number, but the download stopped, as I was using an unreliable 4G connection. I have a 256GB USB drive to install the HP software on, so I intend to try again tomorrow, on public Wi-fi. I just want to confirm that I'm doing it correctly, and also to be aware of any problems that may arise. Thanks.

Hi Gaya1239,
You didn't read my post properly, did you ? I explained ( amongst other things ) that I couldn't use the downgrade option in the settings menu, because it had been more than 10 days since Windows 11 had been installed, and your suggestion was to give me a link to a video, showing me how to do just that. If you're not going to read OP's posts properly, then please don't waste my time making suggestions 2 days later ! - Careless, and not at all helpful to me. You're supposed to be an HP support agent ? - Wow ! - Unbelievable !
