Good morning
I would like to install the original 2006 Webcam drive that I had in my Notebook when I bought it!

Hi:

 

HP only supported that model series for Windows Vista, so the only webcam driver available is for Windows Vista, and it only works on the dv6000 to dv6499 models.

 

The dv6500 and newer do not have or need a webcam driver.

 

If your notebook is one of the dv6000 - dv6499 models, below is the link to the original webcam driver.

Years ago I had "obscure" out the webcam....
Now even if it works I don't have the "settings anymore
It lights up but remains obscured

Unfortunately, I would not be able to help you any further with getting the webcam to work.
