HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0058wm
Good day!

After reinstalling Windows 10 version 19044, it was found that all drivers on the official website are only available for version 10.1903. When attempting to install the drivers, I received a message stating that they are incompatible with the current version of Windows. It is not possible to change the Windows version, and there is also no way to connect the laptop to a Wi-Fi network to automatically download the drivers.

Could you please advise where I can download drivers for my laptop that are compatible with Windows 10.19044, and how to manually install them?

@15cx-0058wm, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

It seems like you're facing a driver compatibility issue after reinstalling Windows 10. Here’s how you can handle this situation:

Check Windows Update

Open Settings (Windows + I).

Go to Update & Security > Windows Update.

Click Check for updates. This might find some drivers automatically.

Install Drivers in Compatibility Mode

Go to the driver file you downloaded from the website.

Right-click it and select Properties.

In the Compatibility tab, check Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows 8 or Windows 7.

Click Apply > OK, then run the installer again.

Manually Install Drivers Using Device Manager

Open Device Manager (right-click Start > Device Manager).

Find the device (like your Wi-Fi adapter) that needs a driver.

Right-click it and choose Update driver.

Select Browse my computer for drivers, then find the downloaded driver and select it.

Also, you can download Hp support assistant: HP Support Assistant | HP® Support

This will help you to download the required compatible drivers automatically

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
