I have an HP 15-FC0025TG which came with Windows 11. I am needing to wipe the hard drive and reinstall Win11. When I boot to Win11 via USB I am met with a window that states "Install driver to show hardware" in order to 'see' the hard drive. But when I go to the software and drivers for this computer there are no SATA, RAID or M2 drivers.

So I booted up to a WIn10 USB and that saw the hard drive without drivers. Did all updates, but it will not update to WIn11.

How do I get a clean install of WIn11 on this computer?

What is listed on the software and drivers page:

Driver-Enabling

AMD notebooks shouldn't need any storage controller drivers in order for Windows to find the drive.

The product specs indicate the notebook came with W11 Home.

I recommend that you use the HP cloud recovery tool to make a bootable USB recovery drive that will return the drive to its 'out of the box' condition.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

Since you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed.

Did you try downloading the W11 25H2 ISO file from the link below (3rd option), right click on the ISO file, select 'Mount,' and then double click to run the setup application in the ISO file to do an in-place upgrade from W10>W11?

If not, you may want to try that first.

Download Windows 11
