HP Notebook - 15-bs144wm
Microsoft Windows 11

My HDD died recently so I purchased another hard drive. But the drive is not recoverable. Can I get a list of the drivers for my machine so I can redownload them. I know going to the HP site has drivers but not all of them. Thank you

Hi:

Your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need to have access to another PC running Windows 7 64 bit or newer, and a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

I tried that option to no avail. My laptop isn't listed among the options to choose.

I would not have replied that your notebook was supported by the cloud recovery tool if it wasn't.

I just ran the tool, entered your notebook's product number (6DB08UA#ABA) and I would be able to create a bootable USB recovery drive as you can see from my screenshot below.

If you still want to manually install the drivers from a clean install of W10/W11, then please list the device descriptions for the few devices that need drivers.

If any of those devices are labeled as Unknown, please post the hardware ID's for the unknown devices, since Windows lables many different devices as Unknown when they need drivers.
