When installing Windows 10 64bit, I am having an issue with the error 'a media driver your computer needs is missing...' Currently, I have Windows 10 32-bit, and on the HP website, there is no support for this version of the system. Support is available only for the 64-bit version. I am unable to update the BIOS or download the RST driver to load it from a USB flash drive.

Hi @Licmi

It has an AMD processor, it does not need a disk driver, and the RST driver is only for Intel processors, the problem lies in the USB installation is damaged, it was created with an unsupported application I recommend in this case to use the microsoft media creation tool.

Hi @resistencia, thank u for reply.

I didn’t know that. Then the possibility remains that the BIOS is faulty, the USB drive, or the computer itself.
As for the method of creating a bootable flash drive, I first tried with the media creation tool, then Power ISO, Ventoy, Rufus... but I still get the same message about a missing driver. 😕

That error is usually the USB, it has error, check the partition that is in FAT32 or GPT or try using another USB.
