I did a windows update last week and it bricked my laptop. I went through all the different options of resetting and alas I have had to create a windows installation file , I did the installation however I have no drivers so I do not have WiFi, trackpad , speakers etc. Reading other posts in the forum I see I need to download the drivers , and put them on the flash drive with the installation file , can someone please tell me if I have to download all the drivers individually or if there is a “pack” , if there is not a pack can anyone tell me which drivers from the list I need to download please as there are a lot. Is it all of them including bios ?
many thanks

Please provide the Product ID or exact model name for better assistance. Preferably the full product ID including the characters after the # symbol. This code may be needed to find cloud recovery files.

Cloud recovery provides all the custom HP drivers.
Go to the below site and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character
You have cloud recovery and you can restore your system using a 32gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.

Alternately, download from the MS windows store
Make sure you can pass diagnostics first
Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty
let me know if a problem

Thanks again for your help. Unfortunately I am relying on a laptop that is ancient to get the files into flash and it won’t allow me to use windows store. So I am at a stumbling block right now as I live in the middle of nowhere. Can I just download the individual drivers ?
many thanks

All of your drivers are here
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/hp-15.6-inch-laptop-pc-15-d5000/model/2101006281?sku=8R554EA
Select 11-24H2 and expand the Open all
I really recommend you obtain the full install from the cloud. it cannot be done at a library as you need to have admin access to run the install after it downloads
Do not upgrade your bios until you have the OS running and can pass UEFI diagnostics.
