Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, One time I tried to install a pirated version of Windows 8.1 without deleting my original Windows 10 home single language X64 BIT (Dual booting) and the operation ended with a fail because whenever I boot into Windows 10 it gives me a black screen telling me that some files are damaged and whenever I boot into Windows 8.1 it doesn't connect to the internet because no drivers are installed, Luckily I used the recovery partition of HP and I factory reset back to the original Windows 8.1 single language OS that came with the PC. Today I need to dual boot Kali Linux and Windows 10 home single language and install the drivers for Kali Linux but how? Also please I don't want to damage Windows 10 again. If anybody reply I will try first on a VM then on my actual PC will that be different or the result will be the same? I don't know please help. Thanks.

I'm sorry, but HP only warranties their PCs for usage with the OS that comes preinstalled.

IF you replace that with a Linux distro, or add a Linux distro, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- including solving any problems with booting the other OS and/or installing the other OS.

Your best bet for support with issues with Linux is to contact the support forum of the distro you are using.

Good Luck

OK first of all on my first post you tell me that HP not gonna reply because other people served it then on this post you tell me that I can't dual boot and install Kali Linux at your own risk and then you tell me leave a like and add this as fixed my problem. Haha the only unreasonable thing I see are your replys, not helping at all.

I looked through your posts and see no such thread you mention -- and besides, as I indicated, if you install a different OS, you are on YOUR OWN!  So, no, we are under no obligation to assist you in your dual-boot issues with a Linux distro.

Now thanks for telling me that you have no drivers for Linux even though your answer is not exactly that helping but that is not my problem I don't care about drivers right now but my problem is that last time I dual booted the the original OS that came with HP was damaged for some reason so my question is can you please give me steps on dual booting without damaging Windows OS?
