I have a HP Lap Top. I play slots regularly and had no issues until a couple weeks ago...
Many different messages pop up and kick me out constantly. The one I get the most is "server communications lost"
Others are; "technical issues", "game play cannot be completed at this time, please try again later"
Customer support for these games are clueless. My computer is updated.
Thank you

Hi @Mina1313,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The "server communications lost" error and related issues while playing games can stem from various causes, such as network instability, conflicts in system settings, or even game server problems. Here's a troubleshooting guide to help you resolve this.
Check Your Internet Connection
- Stability: Ensure your internet connection is stable and fast. Use a speed test to check your network performance.
- Switch Networks: If possible, try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or use an Ethernet cable for a more reliable connection.
- Restart Router: Power cycle your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds and plugging it back in.
Update or Change Browser
- If you're playing through a browser, clear its cache and cookies.
- Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version.
- Try switching to another browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge) to see if the issue persists.
Disable Background Applications
- Some applications or downloads running in the background may interfere with gaming performance.
- Open Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), go to the "Processes" tab, and end unnecessary applications.
Check Your Firewall and Antivirus Settings
- Your firewall or antivirus may block communication between your game and the server.
- Add the game to your firewall and antivirus exceptions list.
- Temporarily disable antivirus/firewall to test if the issue resolves.
Flush DNS and Reset Network Settings
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run the following commands:
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh winsock reset
- Restart your laptop after completing these steps.

Update Graphics Drivers
- Outdated graphics drivers may cause crashes. Ensure your GPU drivers are up-to-date:
- For NVIDIA: GeForce Experience
- For AMD: AMD Software
- For Intel: Intel Driver & Support Assistant
Verify Game Files or Reinstall
- If you're using a dedicated app to play the game, verify the game files for corruption (if the platform supports it).
- Reinstall the game to ensure a fresh copy is installed
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
