HP Recommended

If Computrace has never been activated in the BIOS, you can disable it there. 

Once it is disabled it can never be activated again.

Unfortunately, that also means once enabled it can never be disabled.

How to remove Computrace


I happen to own a notebook that I use for Linux variants where that is the case.
