Elitebook 840
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

screen.JPGI have a HP Elitebook 840.

The hard disk has failed.

I got a replacement fitted it & installed the OS  fine.

There is an Intel Rapid storage option that falses up on the screen just before the OS loads.

Ctrl & I to go in, when I go in there I can see a RAID volume called cache_Volume 29.8 Gb, this is disabled.

There are 2 physical devices listed:

0: The HGST hard disk (I just fitted) - is listed as a Non-RAID Disk

1: Liteonit LSS-32 - cache disk (0)

The only options are to Reset disks to Reset Disks to Non-RAID or Exit(Pic attached).

How do I configure the RAID to incorporate the new disk?

Hello.

I don't know if this helps you.  I do not know much about RAID.
