Elitebook 850 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hallo,

I´ve got the following Problem:

With macrium reflect I cloned the system win 10 of a probook 6570b to an SSD to migrate to an Elitebook 850 G2  But unfortunately the elitebook will not start with the cloned disk. I get the massage:

"A required device  ..... cannot be accessed."  "Error code 0xc000000e"

bootrec /fixmbr : works

bootrec /fixboot  : acess denied

diskpart works

Then I attached the cloned SSD to my desktop PC with a Gigabyte mainboard "GA-F2A88XM-HD3"., and it starts without  any problem.

So why does the Elitebook G2 not boot with that cloned SSD?

Is there a special feature designed by HP to prevent  this notebook from booting?

SSD is NTFS formatted

Thanks in advance for an Answer

For those interested:

It was the EFI partition. I created a new one, and all is fine.

Best wishes
