Good day all,
As the title says, I’m still using my Elitebook 8560w with i7/16GB Ram and it’s working fine with Windows 10 (64). I even managed to install the Hotkey support software. Everything is working perfectly.
Last month I purchased a new battery from Green Cell. A very good and trusted brand as I already used it in another 3 laptops (2 Asus and one Lenovo).
After installing the battery, I formatted the PC as I wanted to have a fresh OS. Everything is working fine except that I have a red notification on HP Support Assistant asking to calibrate the battery to get better performance.
On check the HP Support says that the battery is good and even identify the part number and manufacture date, but needs to be calibrated. I tried all methods to do so including keeping the battery charged for 3 hours, uninstalling Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery and restarting the system.
If there is any help to solve this issue by either calibrating the battery or deleting this red warning, please do help.
PS: Bios and HP Support Assistance are all the latest versions.
Thanx in advance.
