Product: Elitebook HP8460P
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
Hello everybody.
Anyone could help ?
I have an Elitebook HP8460P with a dead HD6470M ATI graphics.
Product ID QY685US#ABA
Bios 68SCF Ver. F.67
The issue is that there is no way to use the onboard HD graphics, no option to enable it in the Bios
So my laptop is good for garbage since I can only use it with the "basic microsoft vga adapter"
I could install Intel Graphics 3000 but the device manager shows it as disconnected (Err45)
Is there a modded (or older or different) Bios that could be installed ?
I hate the idea of discarding a machine that could work for another 10 years I am sure.
Thx
