HP Notebook - 15-bs180tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my window 10 to 11, for that I need to enable secure boot in BIOS, currently it is Legacy support enabled in my BIOS.

So my question is if I disable "Legacy support" will I lose my all data or operating system?

Hi:

Yes, if you disable legacy mode in the BIOS, the notebook will not boot up unless you re-enable legacy mode.

You need to reinstall W10 in UEFI mode which means you would need to reinstall all of your programs and files.

Then you would be able to disable legacy mode and enable secure boot.

If you want to upgrade to W11 in legacy mode, you can easily bypass the W11 secure boot hardware check by reading the info at the link below...
