I just purchased an Envy 17-cr0013dx laptop which came with Windows 11 home. I used Macrium Reflect to create an image from a Dell Inspiron Laptop running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit and restored that image to the Envy laptop. I have most things working but having some issues with a few things in the device manager.
I have tried downloading and installing all of the drivers on the HP Support page for the model. The touchpad and touchscreen are non-functional. Although the drivers for sound appear to be installed there is no sound from the laptop speakers.
I'm wondering if anyone may be able to help identify which drivers are needed for Windows 10 in this case?
Thanks in advance.

You're very welcome.
The below driver should install the following devices:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_51E9
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_51E8
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_51A8
ACPI\VEN_INTC&DEV_1055
Intel Serial IO Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp142001-142500/sp142051.exe
The driver that I zipped up and attached below, should install this device:
I found it on the Microsoft Update Catalog website a while back.
ACPI\VEN_HPIC&DEV_0014
You will need to manually install the driver from the device, since there is no exe file.
Download and unzip the attached file to its folder. Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager.
Click on the ACPI\VEN_HPIC&DEV_0014 device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab, click on Update Driver.
Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
The USB controller drivers are not for the USB 3 ports like I thought.
They are for the Intel Thunderbolt controller and both of those devices should be installed by this driver:
Intel Thunderbolt Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp143501-144000/sp143571.exe
So, that should take care of everything but the touchpad.
The only other suggestion I can offer for that would be to try manually installing the driver that would not install due to the OS not supported message.
To do that, go to the device manager.
Click to expand the Mice and Pointing Devices category.
Click on the device listed there.
Click on the driver tab.
Click on Update driver.
Select the Browse my computer for drivers option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the Synaptics touchpad driver.
That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp112541.
Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and see if the driver installs that way.
If not, I'm afraid that I don't know what else to do because I can't find any other notebooks that use that device and have W10 drivers.

Hi:
USB controller drivers should have been installed by W10.
There are no standalone USB controller drivers for W10.
The only suggestion I can offer as a first pass would be to install the Intel chipset installation utility and restart the PC
Hopefully that will install some of the missing devices.

I think the PCI Simple Comms controller needs this driver:
Intel Management Engine Components Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp143001-143500/sp143154.exe
See if this touchpad driver works:
Synaptics Precision Touchpad Filter Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112501-113000/sp112541.exe
For any remaining devices in your screenshot that still need drivers, please post the hardware ID's for them.

Thanks for the quick response and suggestions. I installed the first two but they didn't seem to help resolve any items. The Synaptics driver won't install as it indicated the driver was not support by the OS.

Thanks again for the quick and accurate help. Those additional drivers have cleared all of the unknown devices.
The only issue I seem to have at this point in no audio from the laptop speakers. The headphone jack has audio output and the drivers all seem to be okay. To be honest I'm not postivie whether I verified the speakers were playing sound before I installed the Windows 10 image, but I feel like they were.

You're very welcome.
The only suggestion I can offer for the sound would be to try this W10 Realtek audio driver:
