ENVY X360 13-AG0006AU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello~~!  ENVY X360 13"  here, whoever may be able to help, thanks in advance!

so the fan makes a little bit more noise when running more tasks which is normal (not as quiet as i like, but cant have everything perfectly) but weird thing is that when I convert it to a tablet (360 degrees) the fan would run constantly and makes very loud noise which is kind of the opposite of the purpose of the design.... I mean the noise is so aggressive you can not ignore it, I am not able to use it without being distracted!

I have tried clean installing the system, uptated BIOS.... it was like this when I purchased it. anybody has similar problems? is there a solution or should I just accept that it is not a convertible?....

@ag0006au Welcome to HP Community!

I understand that you are getting fan noise.

As you have stated that you have already updated the BIOS.

The issue seems to replace the fan.

I would suggest you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Be careful. Is it really the noise of your fan? In my cases first I thought the sound coming from fan but when I disassemble laptop I found it is coming from hard disk and not fan. In my case, I have to replace my hard disk.
