I've tried Ubuntu, Fedora, Kali and other Linux on this laptop and they all appear to not have drivers for:
- Touchscreen
- Camera
- Built in microphone
- Built in speakers, which is down to some weird amplifier that is used and not recognised
The speakers require HP to provide values for pinout settings since the driver is unable to detect them due to some weird set up.
I can live without the touchscreen, but camera, microphone and amd speakers os essential and should work regardless, but HP are hiding this implementation.
When will this be made available?
I bought this laptop to run Linux, and it was not stated anywhere that this would not support it. All other HP laptops I bought supported Linix, but this one is making me move to other vendors.
I've already changed to Epson for printers, due to the poor information being given from HP and lack of customer support for alllowing a company to sell a laptop that they should have known would not run Linux when they were asked.

I have tried this, but all I get is that it's not a Microsoft Windows issue and therefore not supported, HP has no intention of supporting for Linux, which is why everyone is complaining about the lack of support from HP on the BIOS information for setting up the audio amplifier, as well as no camera, microphone or touch screen.
HP need to provide this information on their web site so that Linux people can correct the settings, or make the drivers work.
There is no technical support from HP on this topic, at all.
