Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

As MANY others have stated, when AMD virtualization is enabled in the BIOS, installing a hypervisor in Windows 10 (e.g. Hyper-V or WSL2) causes my HP Envy x360  (Ryzen 5 4500U) to not be able to wake from sleep states. Also as noted in previous threads, disabling this feature in the BIOS allows the machine to wake from sleep but obviously breaks the hypervisor.

A workaround of sorts is to hibernate the machine instead of putting it to sleep, but this is obviously not a good long-term solution.

This is a HUGE problem for those of us that require a hypervisor in Windows. Please address it and stop sending people to AMD who immediately send us back to HP.

I have a similarly spec'd (Ryzen 5 4500U) Lenovo laptop that does not have this problem.

I'm having the same issues on my Envy 13-ay0075nr. I'm assuming the only solution is waiting on a bios update from HP or return it and go with a Lenovo with AMD 4000 processors.

This is otherwise a great product. Unfortunate to see it have an issue like this.
