HP Laptop 15-bw0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product name HP Laptop 15-bw0xx

Product number 2CL72EA#ACB

Hello!

The hard drive broke down, I bought a new one on 1TB and replaced it.

After that, I used HP Cloud recovery, start the flash drive and after a while the message pops up

"This computer is not supported by a system recovery carrier.

It is impossible to continue restoring the system with these media.

0100-8331-8330.

I also tried downloading the Windows 10 image from Microsoft's official website, but when you start the flash drive, the installation process starts loading and the gray screen lights up, it doesn't even reach the choice of language, but Ubuntu Linux is installed without problems and works normally.

Hi@maliden, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand you have issues with your notebook after replacing HDD .

The only option is to reimage the operating system to factory settings.

  1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
  2. Click Advanced system settings.
  3. Click the Advanced tab.
  4. In the Startup and Recovery section, click Settings.
  5. Click to clear the Automatically restart check box.

If you've been using the Recovery Partition (F11) to reinstall the OS, I recommend using the Recovery media instead to wipe out the HDD and create a new partition and fresh OS installation: Click here to obtain one, if you don't have on in your possession.

or HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10) Link

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
