@amorbor, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues with your printer indicating low ink even after replacing the cartridges. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Troubleshooting Ink Cartridge Issues

Reinstall the Ink Cartridges:

  • Turn on your printer and open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove the cartridges and ensure that any protective tapes or seals are completely removed.
  • Reinsert the cartridges and ensure they are clicked into place firmly.

Clean the Ink Cartridge Contacts:

  • Use a lint-free cloth and distilled water to gently clean the electrical contacts on the ink cartridge and inside the printer.
  • Ensure they are dry before reinserting them into the printer.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds and plug it back in.
  • Turn on the printer and check if the issue persists.

Run HP Smart:

Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)

  • Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
