Hi @Abdullah_Al1199,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code 0xc0000428 typically indicates a problem with the digital signature of a system file, often related to the Boot Configuration Data (BCD). Here are the steps you can follow to resolve this issue and recover your laptop:

Method 1: Use Startup Repair

Boot from Windows Installation Media:

  • Insert the Windows installation media (USB/DVD) into your laptop.
  • Restart your laptop and press the necessary key to enter the boot menu (usually F2, F12, Esc, or Del).
  • Select the installation media to boot from it.

Access Startup Repair:

  • Once the Windows Setup screen appears, select your language preferences and click Next.
  • Click on Repair your computer at the bottom left.
  • Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair.

System Restore

  1. Access System Restore:
    • Boot from the Windows installation media and access the Repair your computer option.
    • Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > System Restore.
  2. Perform System Restore:
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to restore your computer to a previous state before the issue occurred.

Method 2: Reset Your PC

Access Reset Option:

  • Boot from the Windows installation media and access the Repair your computer option.
  • Select Troubleshoot > Reset this PC.

Choose Reset Option:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your PC. You can choose to keep your files or remove everything.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
