Hello, could you help
Envy laptop, had an update, this took ages; now the laptop shows a system error.
Error message accelerrometerSt.exe
Or cannot proceed because accelerometerdll.DLL was not found.

How can I fix the issue?

Sorry for my late answer on our post.

 

Just to make it clear.

 

We got the error msg. Solved?

 

Now you have problems with the PCs speed and links does not work in Explorer but works on Chrome? or does it not work on Chrome?

Hallo Okwhatsnext

 

The accelerometerdll.DLL error is coming from your HP 3d drive guard. Please follow this steps to solve your problem.

 

Windows 10 redstone 1 or older:

 

1. Go into control panel.

2. Go into programs and fetures 

3. Uninstall a problem.

4. Find and uninstall 3D drive guard.

5. Restart your PC.

6. Check if the error is gone. If yes contiune to next step. If not please reply to me.

7. Go into www.hp.com

8. Click on support in the right top cornor.

9. Search on your HP product model or number.

10. Find the newest driver for 3D drive guard under your software choice.

 

Windows 10 version 1703

1. Go to settings.

2. Click on apps.

3. Find 

Find and uninstall 3D drive guard.

5. Restart your PC.

6. Check if the error is gone. If yes contiune to next step. If not please reply to me.

7. Go into www.hp.com

8. Click on support in the right top cornor.

9. Search on your HP product model or number.

10. Find the newest driver for 3D drive guard under your software choice.

Hello, thank you for the advice that resolved the error message issue....... however appears to be slow to startup and to be able to use software, also appears that links are not working or explorer although chrome will work.

Any guidenance

Thanks for the reply.
When using edge it appears slower.
Also if clicking on a link such as this forum update goes off in limbo then try's to open and just drops / closes the edge.
