HP Spectre WOJ15PA#ABG
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I boot up I get an error message saying "Error - Flow will now close"  I then cancel this irritating message and all seems to be well.   This has now been happening for about a month. I suspect a bug in a Microsoft update.  My computer has proven to be an unreliable machine, probably caused by poor software.  Not happy paying top dollar and getting poor performance, what ever the cause.  I have tried to suppress the notifications but surprise surprise, this notification is outside the Microsoft notification system.  How do I get rid of this message permanently wiithout having to do major surgery.

Hi,

It seems to be a problem with the Conexant Audio Driver.

So try going into Device Manager (right-click on Start and click on Device Manager)

Find Sound , Video Controllers in the list

Right click on Conexant ISST audio driver and click on update driver.

See if it works.

If not, try uninstalling the driver and rebooting the machine. Windows will automatically reinstall the driver for the audio.

Hope it helps,

David
