HP 14-bs057sa
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I opened a website [edit]to watch a live match but I got a pop up message stating "your computer has been blocked". Then a continuous voice note saying I should call a toll-free number to get it unblocked by the support engineers. I tried calling but the number isn't going through. What should I do please. It's urgent because I can't do anything on the computer. Thanks.

@Sheazy,

Welcome to the HP Forums 🙂 I would like to take a moment and thank you for using this forum, it is a great place to find answers. For you to have the best experience on the HP forum, you could also visit our HP Forums Guide for First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More. I see from your post you are having issues regarding the pop up. Don't worry we'll work together to help you find a solution.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you recently made any software or hardware changes on the PC before the issue started?

Do you have any Anti-virus program installed on the PC? If so, run a complete scan on your PC.

In the meantime, this looks like your PC is infected by virus, If the issue persists even after running a complete scan.

I would suggest the next option would be to perform a system recovery using the recovery media. If you haven't created a set of recovery media soon after purchase of this PC.

Click here to know how to order a set of recovery media for your PC

Just in case if you are finding it difficulty ordering them,

I will share you a private message with details. Please watch your inbox for more information.

Let me know if this helps!

Have a great day ahead! 🙂
