14q-cs0009TU
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought a new laptop HP '14q-cs0009TU' from flipkart. It does not have any OS and I was installing windows 10 64 bit.

During installation, i am getting the below error.

"No device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click OK"

I have tried doing the installations from all available USB ports and none of them worked.

Request your urgent help.

Did you create partitions on the HD before attempting installation? So you have the Win 10 install on a USB drive? If you can, try copying the USB to a DVD and installing from the DVD. Don't forget to change the BIOS to boot from DVD.

I didn't created any partitions on the HD. Does it matters ?

The laptop doesn't have an opticial drive. So i cannot install it from DVD.

Thanks for the reply.

At the beginning of the Win 10 install you should have been presented with options to create partitions. Where did you get the Win 10 USB install drive? Or did you make it yourself?

I didn't got the option to create the partion. The error happened even before that. I got the iso from one of my friend and I created a bootable usb using the same.

Sounds like you may have a defective install. Try the USB drive on another computer. If you get the same error it's likely a corrupted install. If you don't (you can cancel the install before any changes are made) it's likely something to do with the laptop. Perhaps a defective HD.
