I don’t know if it has anything to do with this, but I was using a external monitor without any problems. After installing a program called “docker” I had to restart the laptop and after rebooting the external monitor didn’t give any response. The system itself does actually detect the monitor in the system settings. I have already tried reinstalling all graphic drivers. Using a different monitor/cable that was being used by another person and was taken back in use after me trying them. Is there anything else I can try to fix this?

Thanks!

Hi,

there could be an driver issue for some Intel Grafics cards by active Hyper-V. You might try the following:

Device Manager -> Display Drivers -> right-click on Intel(R) HD Graphics .... -> Update Driver -> browse My Computer for driver software -> Let me pick from a list -> Choose the device driver whose version starts with 10.*

Drivers starting with version number 20.* could have some issues with Hyper-V.

Please let me know, if this works for you.

So I  went  back to the office today and just thought about just trying to plug it in. And it just randomly started working  again like it was never  broken. I  dont know what happened with it but it works! Thanks for the help
