Zbook 17 G5
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

we got a ZBook 17 G5 with 3 extra 1TB drives installed.

I had to perform a win10 full reset because the OS wasn't functioned well.

After the OS reset, the extra drives are not anywhere to be found! not even in the device manager.

Can anybody help me?

Hi, thanks.

I mistakenly wrote "device manager", I meant "Disk Management"; they weren't showing up even in the Disk Management.

Anyway, I solved this by changing settings in bios and installing intel raid controller software and driver.

Cheers,

Ali

@beingalitaheri

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

I would check to see if they show up in Disk Management -- as that can see all the drives that the BIOS sees, even if they do not have driver letters and/or are not formatted.

In the search area, enter "disk management" (without the quotes).

That should open a window listing all the drives attached to your PC.

Scroll down through the list, looking for drivers that either do not have drive letters or do not have file formats that Windows recognizes. If you find drives of the first type, you can assign them drive letters using this tool.

Good Luck
