Vijay:

This is not Burger King...you can't come in here and start your post "I want"...we don't work for HP and help people who deserve help on our own time.

I happen to have done this many times and will take the time to walk you through it but first explain what you have available in the way of recovery media and hardware and a little more about your problem. I read you old posts and you got some less than complete answers before.

Does your laptop have the 24 gig mSATA disk already installed? What is the state of it now? You do not configure the acceleration in UEFI or the BIOS it is done using the Intel Rapid Storage app within Windows. I also want to be sure you understand what is going on....you cannot boot from the 24 gig mSSD. It simply "helps" the hard drive to work a bit faster.

I never told you to set the BIOS date to 17 years ago....who told you that? As I said you got some poor advice before and are making it way harder than it is.

Quite simply you just install Windows on the main hard drive...ignore the 24 gig mSATA....then once you get Windows installed you use the Intel Rapid Storage app. Here is an overview:

Solved what problem? It certainly did not activate the 24 gig mSATA acceleration. Maybe an issue with your recovery disk?

Thats exactly what it should look like. Good job. If something I suggested was the solution, please click "Accept as Solution" for that post so that it gets more visibility and others with the problem can find it more easily from search engines. If you mean something else fixed your problem then I am just glad to hear it is working for you.

By the way you can go into the advanced configuration for the Intel Rapid Storage and have it use the whole disk for acceleration. As things are, you are left with an almost 4 gig partition that is not really useful for anything else and the acceleration cache will fill up over time and can work a little better with more space to use.
