My Hp Pravilion g6 is the f11 key just takes me to a black screen with f11.....system recovery in the bottom left corner and I know for a fact it has nothing to do with my hard disc because I ran a test and it passed my laptop say no operation system Found I tried my boot options and I see nothing about bios idk what to do the only thing I see is. Cd-rom, floopy,and internal boot options.....I'm going crazy

If you don't even see hard drive as a boot option- your hard drive is definitely bad.

F11 boots into Recovery partition on the hard drive-if it is working.

Not sure what boot option of BIOS you are talking about. You can't boot from BIOS. You can enter BIOS by tapping F10 key immediately after powering on but not sure what you hope to do in there.

My hard drive passed the test so if its bad how would it have passed? Also someone just told me my operation system is completely missing some one deleted everything off my computer and I need to buy another OS in order to get my laptop to work could this be true?

I have seen machines report the hard drive passed the test when in fact it is dead.

I doubt that anyone deleted your OS. If the hard drive fails- then the OS is gone along with it.

Do you have Recovery Media? If not contact HP to order.
