hey!

 

how is the BIOS update installed?

- I downloaded from HP Support site

- then I got the .exe file.

- I run it with Total Commander.

- It checked my systems already installed bios version and I compared that the new bios is newer then old.

- I accept it then the system processing some things

- and I restart my notebook.

- I wait for the new bios installation

- The system restarted

- I checked the new bios version and it looks like it is installed correctly.

 

Is there any other method which I should use?

In Reply to Mike_99: This was the way I solved the exact same issue: pressing Fn and F8 many times at the same time up to the orange light turned off...
