@NINAD3523 Here's a video on how to disable the "turbo mode" that causes this issue: Click here

If you aren't able to disable it permanently, use the below steps:

If you are running windows 8 it could be an admin rights problem.

Navigate to this folder:

C:\Program Files (x86)\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static

Find CCC.exe, right click>properties>compatibility tab

Tick the 'run this program as an administrator' option and hit ok.

Do the same thing for MOM.exe

You may have to restart the PC for the changes to take effect, then try disabling overdrive, restart the game to see if it fixes it.

@NINAD3523

In some situations, your CPU may slow down while you are playing a game. This can be caused by overheating, or it can be caused by attempts to conserve battery power.

More info can be found on Improving Video Game Performance or FPS.

Keep me posted for further assistance.

@NINAD3523 If none of that worked, I suggest running a hardware test to identify the issue:

Install the latest version of the HP Hardware diagnostics (UEFI) on your device using this link: Click here for details

  • Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  • Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
  • On the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI) main menu, click System Tests.
  • Click Extensive Test.
  • Click Run once, or Loop until error.
  • While the test is running, the time remaining and test result for each component display on the screen.

If a component fails a test, write down the failure ID (24-digit code) for when you respond back to us.

i have done that and no error is displayed in hardware diagonist also i ddi the memory test whose reult is no errors but now i have switched my AMD graphics  to INTEL graphics which is intel 520 and now during gaming it gives lower fps than AMD which is around  60FPS(good,AMD gives upto 100) but intel graphics is giving constant fps from 45 to 60 hence now i can play the low end graphics games without fps drop but for higher graphics game it is not possible.

my major question is why with INTEL graphics it gives constant fps and with AMD graphics it fluctuates and i have seen that (online) amd graphic card R5M430 is way better than intel 520 but in term of practical performance it is not.

plss give some other solutions:)

@NINAD3523 Could you tell me how you are switching the graphics card? Which software is being used? And if it had been working fine before?

Also, please create a new user account and check if that works.

Keep me posted.

In Windows 10 we have game mode from which we can select the preference for particular app whether it should run on maximum performance or optimize performance, stating that maximum performance uses AMD graphics and optimize performance uses INTEL graphic .so I switched from maximum to optimize ,this is how I change the graphic card for an app.

@NINAD3523 I suggest you uninstall the AMD drivers and check the drivers on the AMD website.

If the issue persists, run an SFC scan:

  1. Press the Windows key + X to open the main menu.
  2. Click Command Prompt (Admin) to open the Command Prompt as an administrator.
  3. When Command Prompt opens, enter sfc /scannow and press Enter.
  4. The repair process will now start.

And if nothing works, backup all your data and Perform the system reset: click here for steps.
