While playing COD 7, it's showing that my BIOS is not updated although I have updated it several times. I had tried to reset my laptop too, but the problem remains the same which is causing the COD 7 to get foreclosed.

Hi @NirbhayJajal,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to have you're encountering issues with Call of Duty 7 related to BIOS updates despite having updated your BIOS multiple times, here are several steps you can take to address the problem:

Verify BIOS Version:

  • Double-check the currently installed BIOS version to ensure it matches the latest version available from the HP Support website. Sometimes, the update may not have been applied correctly.

Reset BIOS Settings:

  • Enter the BIOS setup during boot and reset the settings to default. This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.

Ensure Complete Installation:

  • Ensure that you have followed all the instructions for the BIOS update process carefully, including GPU compatibility and settings which can influence game performance.

Update Graphics Drivers:

  • Make sure that your graphics drivers are up to date. Visit the manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, or Intel) for the latest drivers that might help resolve gaming issues.

Take care and have an amazing day!
