I was trying to reboot an unused old laptop (ProBook), which was left untouched for about 2-3 years.

When I switched on the laptop, the screen was surprisingly having little blackout at the 4 edges (curved out), but the rest of the screen and the system was finely booted.

As I am setting it up for a new user to use, I decided to do a factory reset. However, it failed to download Windows from the Internet. When I chose another option, the system reset kept going overnight and stuck at 95%. Eventually I forced shut down the system and rebooted it. Now it shows the following message and I don't know what to do, and if it is worth trying to get someone to repair it.

The message on the screen shows:

BootDevice Not Found.
Please install an operating system on your hard disk.
