HP Laptop PC 15-dy2000 (2D115AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So this laptop was my work computer, it will be remotely wiped next week.  I was wondering how to factory reset my device after it is wiped.  My company said I would need to save a copy of an OS on a flash drive in order to install onto the laptop and go from there.  I do not know how to do that either.  I am not the most computer literate person.  If there was a way to save something onto a flash drive, so I would just have to run it after the computer is wiped, I would love a solution like that.  Or whatever the easiest way to go about it would be.  Thank you so much in advance.

I am not experiencing any problems, it's just that my company will wipe the computer so it can be my own personal laptop, but I will need to install an OS in order to run.  I was just wondering if I can create some sort of boot thing on a USB drive from HP that will help my laptop do a factory reset after the computer wipe.

Hello @Rawnstawp

(1) Backup <all> "personal data ( no business data ! )" (documents/pictures/videos etc...) to external <USB hard drive>

(2Please reinstall your operating system !

You need (another Windows computer) to prepare bootable <USB flash drive>

An unused or empty USB flash drive with at least 32 GB storage capacity is required.
