And there's no way to do that within Windows? I've already resetted this thing for like th 4th time in a week and I'm not really interested in repeating this mess unless I find out that the issue hasn't been resolved yet. I'm really sorry for being so pushy (and maybe agressive), but is there no tool that can do that after having installed and setup Windows for multiple hours?

I thought you were reinstalling W10 from scratch.
There is the disk management tool in Windows to do that.

I already reinstalled Windows 10 PRO and now I would just like to merge the apparently useless D:\ drive with the C:\ drive. When I try to do that with the partition manager from Microsoft/Windows, this is what it looks like and there's no option to delete the D:\ volume, nor to extend the C:\ volume:

Unfortunately, I would not be able to help you with that issue.
I do all of my disk management during the W10 installation process, because of the problem you have just run into.
It's supposed to work, but I have rarely been able to get the disk management tool to do what I want it to do.
I recommend you start a new post to see if anyone else can tell you how to delete the partiton and reallocate the space.
