I cannot login to my laptop. I purchased it from a pawn shop and it worked fine for months. I factory reset it when purchased and my now ex fiancé was helping me set it up and linked it to his Microsoft account. We only ever had 2 pins on this laptop and neither are working. Since it was purchased at a pawn shop I have no recovery disk. How can I factory reset without the pin working? I've tried some suggestions from Google for other HP devices but it's not working for this model.

Hey! You could download the windows 10 repair tool here.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10
You are however going to need another PC to burn it to a flashdrive (Maybe know a friend?)
An 8Gb USB flashdrive will suffice.
You might not have a license key though, or if you're lucky it's linked to your hardware and board number.
If you want your system drivers, I do however recommend looking on the HP drivers & software page itself, after reinstalling.
If you want to keep your data, you will need to connect your hard drive (Or SSD) to another PC and transfer the files that way -> then reinstall Windows.
(I do not work for HP, and am writing this in my free time to help some people where/when I can. Good day!)
