Product: HP Pavilion dv6000
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

I am trying to factory reset my HP Pavilion dv6000, but I don’t have a recovery risk. I was able to restore it back to Jan 2006, but it wasn’t a true factory reset - still has a number of my downloaded programs and data on it. Looking for a true wipe.

Hi:

 

The only place you will be able to get a recovery kit for your notebook would be from this vendor.

 

Hopefully, they will mail the kit to Canada.

You will need to enter the full model number or product number of your notebook in the search window.

 

Recovery kits are model specific.
