Hp Stream 11-r015wm
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
While attempting factory reset thru settings, restore & recovery - removing all personal files & apps, but not the full reset - the hp has been stuck at "Resetting this PC 62%". This is concerning to me as I now see too many horror posts about HP's getting stuck at this point. There should be nothing wrong with the PC other than low on disk space (didn't have much to begin with) to have caused this that I can tell. SOS please!

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I understand that the Reset is stuck at 62%.

I'll try my best to help.

I suggest you try the complete System Recovery and check if that works.

If the System Recovery freezes, you can run a Hard drive test to confirm the Hardware functionality

- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second.
- When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- On the main menu, click Component Tests and Hard drive

If the test pass, then nothing to worry. You can contact our Phone Support to order the Recovery Media

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/
2) Click on "Continue as guest".
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Click on "Show Options".
Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

Thank you 🙂
