I did a reset on an hp Pavilion g6 laptop which took many hours  it opened with a screen with someone as the user and asking for a password  not the nor

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you need information on changing or resetting the password for your HP Pavilion G6-2292nr Notebook PC. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

Please refer to this document: HP PCs - Change or reset the computer password in Windows 10

 

If the issue still persists, then you may try to re-install a fresh Operating system using HP Cloud Recovery:  HP Consumer PCs - Using the HP Cloud Recovery Tool (Windows 10, 7)

 

NOTE: Please make sure you take a backup of all your data before re-installing the OS.
