Hold the power button until it shuts down. On restart you should be back into Windows- if it was booting before.

I would try running F2 System Diagnostics to test the drive. Sometimes it can repair errors if they aren't extreme. It may help get Recovery Manager running. Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This will open a menu where F2 System Diagnostics is an option. Tap F2 key and run the tests.
