Hi @Green41,

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • What is the exact model of your HP laptop?
  • Which version of Windows are you running (Windows 10, Windows 11)?
  • Did the reset complete fully, or did you notice any interruptions during the process?

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Restart in Safe Mode:
    • Restart your laptop and press F11 or hold Shift + Restart.
    • Go to Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
    • Select Safe Mode and try signing in there.
  2. Create a New User Profile:
    • If Safe Mode works, open Command Prompt (Admin) and create a new user account using:
    • Then restart and try logging in with the new account.
  3. System File Check:
    • In Safe Mode, open Command Prompt and run:
    • This will repair any corrupted system files that may be preventing the profile from loading.
  4. Windows Recovery Options:
    • Restart and press F11 to enter recovery.
    • Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > System Restore if you have a restore point available.
  5. Re-run Factory Reset (if needed):
  • If none of the above works, you may need to perform the factory reset again, ensuring the process completes without interruption.(Ensure to backup the data)

I hope this helps.
