Got my new HP Victus 16 a few days ago. I want to return it because it doesn't suit me and I want/need to reset it to factory settings. However, when going into Settings-Reset this PC-Remove everything it brings me NOT to the choice of Cloud Download or Local Reinstall but it brings me to "COULD NOT FIND THE RECOVERY ENVIRONMENT" and below it "Insert your Windows installation or recovery media, and restart your PC with the media." As I do not have any of those I click on CLOSE and it brings me back on the Settings page. Thanks for helping me out as I need to return it with clean reset on Monday.

Hi. Thanks for your answer but... I do not get your 2nd screen, I don't get a choice between Local or Cloud. I get the first screen saying Keep my Files or Remove everything and when I click on Remove everything it gives me no choice between Cloud or Local but asks me to give the Rescue Disk. As I don't have a rescue Disk the process stops.
As I did the latest big Windows 11 update I reversed and went back to the previous one. When rebooting I just get a BSD and Windows does not start anymore. So now I just have one useless, expensive piece of plastic.

Hello @Morb1
To help you I just need to know the product number (p/n) xxxxxx#xxx of your notebook !
It looks something like this:
You will find this information on the back/rear of your notebook in small alphanumeric letters. Use a magnifying glass or the camera zoom feature on your smartphone to read it better.
Kind regards

Hello @Morb1
(1) HP Cloud Recovery is not supported:
(2) Use another Windows computer to create Windows 11 installation media:
Download Windows 11 (Current release: Windows 11 2022 Update l Version 22H2)
Kind regards
