I have attempted to reset my notebook, with the HP recovery, but the reset process has reached 65%, now just keeps blue screening, shutting down and restarting back to the 65% resetting stage. Any body have an idea how i can over come the blue screening issues?

Hi:

You have two options...both options will require you to have access to a Windows PC running W7 64 bit or newer.

1. Make a bootable USB recovery drive with the HP cloud recovery client that you can use to reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.  I have attached the instructions for use, below.

This package provides the Cloud Recovery Client for supported computer models running a supported operating system. This Client Utility enables users to download the Recovery Kit from the cloud.

Use the Media creation tool to create a bootable W10 installation flash drive that will reinstall W10.

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

After W10 has completed installing, you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.

To answer your question ... you have to go online and lookup what the stopcode means.

If it is something related to software, like drivers or Windows system files, then a reinstall of Windows will most likely fix that.

If it is hardware, then a reinstallation will not and the PC would need to be diagnosed and repaired.
