Any way I can connect to Ethernet via USB without installing drivers to get internet ?

I don't understand what you are doing....

I gave you the instructions to turn the Realtek wifi exe file into a driver folder using 7-Zip this morning.

You can't do anything with the exe files.

Please re-read what I posted, and you will be able to see the inf file.

I recently got the same laptop and am curious about your upgrade. You say you cloned the original drive and the new drive failed to boot. Was the original drive still in the S Mode at the time you cloned it? I have already switched out of S Mode and done the feature update to Windows 10 1909. I have also done an experimental system reset that was not a factory reset. It reinstalled Windows but not in S Mode.  I understand the original drive is M.2 Sata. At some point I may try to upgrade with an M.2 PCIe drive and would hope cloning would work. Have already added ram.
