HP Pavilion - 14-ce2064st

After installation of Windows 11 it worked first and then crashed overnight. Diagnostics show it does not see storage device but SSD check run from CMD prompt shows it is Ok. Tried to install Windows 10 back using USB installation media bit it cannot find the driver. Downloaded IRST drivers from HP support site but it still does not work

I suggest that you use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will return your notebook's drive to its 'out of the box' condition.

Here is an info link for how to use the utility.  You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive for this.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store:

Since you have to use the software on another PC, you will have to enter your notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

Your PC's product number is 6MW72UA#ABA

Thank you. I followed your instructions, however unfortunately it still failed to restore Windows 10. I get error massage: Get failure from Dynamic Recovery tool. Any further suggestions?

You're very welcome.

Sorry the HP cloud recovery tool media didn't work.

Windows should not be needing any storage controller drivers to find the drive in PC's with the Intel 8th generation core processors.

Those drivers shouldn't be needed except for PC's with the Intel 11th > 13 gen core processors.

FWIW, I have zipped up and attached below, the latest IRST drivers for PCs with the Intel 8th gen core processors.

You can try those, but I don't believe that's the problem and I don't know what the problem could be.
