So I am taking it that I need to replace the battery?

Yes, that is what the report indicates.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

The battery part number and description can be found in chapter 3...Battery (3 cell, 41 Whr) HP part # L97300-005

The battery removal and replacement procedure can be found in chapter 5.

You can order a battery from HP at the link below...$95.61 but it indicates 'Inventory information not available at the moment'

The HP Parts Store - HP Computer Parts - HP Printer Parts - HP parts - hp batteries - SSD - printhea...

If you don't want to spend that much for a battery, or HP does not have the battery in stock, you could do a search by the HP L97300-005 battery part number on Amazon, eBay or laptopbatteryexpress.com and find a compatible aftermarket battery that references the HP part number.

I recommend you find a battery that offers a 1 year warranty.
