Hello
I'm having trouble turning on my laptop today. It's an HP Pavilion dv6. It was fine yesterday but had to do some updates last night and since then it has trouble starting up. The result of the diagnostic test is :
Failure ID: PLKQ5R-50N90-XD0021-60QF03
Can someone please tell me what does that mean?
The laptop's serial number is CNF0031BYP

Hi:
The failure codes are arranged in four groups of six characters. The second group is missing a character.
If the code was generated by the hard drive test, it means the hard drive needs to be replaced and the operating system reinstalled.
Consult the service manual for the specific dv6 model notebook PC you have for the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
