Hi:

 

if you replace the memory yourself, it will cost you $25.49 + tax and shipping (if applicable).

 

Crucial 8GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM | CT8G4SFS824A | Crucial.com

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the memory module removal and replacement procedure.

I appreciate your EXPERT  response .  I ordered the part . Downloaded the repair videos and will give it a try. No one will be more surprised if it works.  It took me several hours to get to the failure code so I am committed to try. Thank You !
