Hey everyone!

My IT support in the company doesn't know how to solve this issue, so I'm asking here.

Fans are set in BIOS to be spinning constantly all the time, if laptop is plugged in charger. But it is not happening. Instead the device overheats and at the very edge fans start at maximum speed for like a minute until device cools down a bit. Eventually it shuts down completely due to high temperature sometimes.

My colleagues are blaming HP for poor cooling design, but there must be some software issue as the fans doesn't obey the setup.

I can't do much as I don't have administrator rights. If someone has experienced this before and solved it, I will kindly forward the solution to my IT department.

Thanks a lot in advance!
